Delete your Headstart account
In the app (fastest)
- Open Headstart and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete everything and confirm.
This deletes your account and everything stored with it on our server at once, and clears Headstart on that phone. Other devices lose access to the account, but keep what is stored on them until you clear or uninstall Headstart there.
Without the app
Email privacy@arthiongroup.com from the email address you sign in to Headstart with, with the subject "Delete my Headstart account". We will confirm by email and delete the account within 30 days.
If you used Headstart without signing in, your account has no email address, so we can't find it from a message. Delete it from the app as above, before you uninstall.
What is deleted
- Your account: email address, name, sign-in methods and signed-in devices.
- Everything synced to our server: folders, flashcards, mind maps, practice sets, answers, review history and study sessions.
- The records of your builds (dates, sizes, AI usage). The material you built from was never stored.
- Reports you sent about content while signed in.
- The records of your Plus or Pro subscription. The subscription itself is with Google Play: cancel it there (Payments & subscriptions) before you delete your account, or it keeps renewing.
What is kept, and for how long
- Copies in our database backups disappear within 7 days of the deletion.
- Records of sign-in code requests are deleted after about a day, whether or not you delete your account.
- Nothing else is kept. Data on your phone stays there until Headstart deletes it or you uninstall the app.
